Aloha! I’m a graphic designer, calligrapher, and lettering artist based in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi.

Originally from Portland, Oregon I took my first calligraphy class freshman year of high school. That was all it took for me to continue to re-enroll every semester for the rest of my high school experience.

My love for calligraphy led me to study graphic design at the Seattle Central Creative Academy and also typeface design at The Cooper Union Type@Cooper program in New York City. The principles, discipline, and patience I learned through the art of calligraphy have influenced my work as a designer—paying close attention to layout and details. My approach to design begins with understanding the goals of the project to effectively find a solution.

When I am not working, I love exploring my new home on the island of Oʻahu, hiking, taking photos, searching for fun eateries, and working on my tan. I love to sing, play the piano, and perform. Fun fact: I once competed as Elvis.
